Today was the Beachley Classic womens surfing competition down at Dee Why, which is the brainchild of Layne Beachley who is a 7 time World Champ. The competition was won by Steph Gilmore in an all Aussie final against Sally Fitzgibbons. Steph is already a 3 time World Champ at only 22, and is on goal to make it a 4th, if she keeps it up she could break Layne’s record of 7. Can’t beat the Aussie surfers…
