Chicago city skyline on a cold, windy and foggy day. Tomorrow is the last day of the project. Can’t believe I made it.

Finally back in a big city. Chicago, Illinois.

A long day of driving across a few states = standing outside hotel room and taking photo.

Went to Bailey Yard today in North Platte, Nebraska. It is the largest rail yard in the world. I like this particular photo because it was taken in perfect golden hour sun and the trains name is Golden Spike.

Spent a lot of the day hanging around in teepee land at Beaver Creek in Colorado.

The slopes were really empty today for Christmas. I had a great day of boarding in a santa hat.

Absolutely perfect weather on the slopes today.

First day snowboarding at Beaver Creek today and there was a tonne of fresh snow and hardly anyone around on the runs. Perfect. I just wish I was confident enough to take the SLR out on to the slopes. Maybe the last day.

Arrived in Avon, Colorado today for a few days of snowboarding at Beaver Creek and Vail. This is a rather uninteresting photo of our hotel room.

Arches National Park in Utah. Its hard to give an idea of the scale of this place with a photo. At my feet is a cliff that is similar in height to the ones on the other side, about 100m.

Stayed in Flagstaff, Arizona today which is home to the observatory that discovered Pluto. Awesome.

Our hire car for the USA road trip.

Spent the night at Newark airport in New York because of a missed connecting flight. A few others had the same problem.

Sun, wind, rain, snow, hail. Nothing stops the Amsterdammers getting on their bikes.

Pretty chuffed with this photo. Walking along the canals in the morning and noticed the really nice light falling on the paved street, and the idea of a bike shadow came in to my head and bazinga here it is.

Ajax Amsterdam Arena. The yellow glow is the lights they use on the grass to help it grow due to the lack of sun that gets in to the stadium. Rather unfortunate they were there when I went.

I love what they’ve done with the place.

Arrived in Amsterdam today and this is the canal at the end of the street where im staying.
